Beaches Turks & Caicos - Is it worth the money?
It is no secret that Beaches Turks & Caicos is not only the most expensive resort of the Beaches brand, but of family resorts as a whole. The part you really have to remember when booking this property and Beaches resorts in general is besides airfare, you really won't need to spend another penny on vacation. Not even tips are allowed (besides butler service)! All restaurants, water sports, really anything you can think of is included at this resort!
There are 4 villages. I highly recommend using a travel planner that is very familiar with this property when you book (ME! ) so they can walk you through the different villages and figure out the best one for your family and vacation. For my family and I, I would choose Caribbean Village. However that does not mean it is the best for your family!
Here is why I think it is worth the high price tag
- Food There are 21 different places you can grab a bite! From ordering a pizza by the pool to dressing up for dinner they have it all! Plus it all is DELICIOUS. They do not skimp on their food. Did you know they actually bring in professional chefs from different cuisines to make their dishes/menus? Be sure to take advantage of the swim up bars also! Plus a kids swim up smoothie bar!
- Accommodations This resort is one of the most versatile that you will find. From trundle beds, bunk beds, all the way up to 4 Bedroom villas, they really have accommodations for every family size and preference!
- Activities on resort They have activities night and day. From pool parties, parades, stage shows, karaoke and it's all included and posted around the resort so you don't miss out!
- Pools/Waterpark There are NINE different pools throughout the property, a lazy river, water slides, surf simulator, splash pad, seriously everything you can think of! Pictured below is the adult only pool!
- Water Sports You can participate in snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, aqua trikes, and more. If you’re a certified SCUBA diver, that’s included, too.
- Child Care ( for ALL ages included) This is HUGE to me. Even little babies can be dropped off at the Kids clubs and taken care of by certified staff at no extra charge!
- Sesame Street interactions It is no secret kids love going places that they can meet their favorite characters. However outside Theme Park vacations that can be super limited. I love that you still have that aspect of vacation but you are at the beach!
- Beach Quality Beaches Resorts are all located on pristine beaches. Turks & Caicos is no exception to that. They also maintain their properties extremely well. If there is seaweed, holes or any other problem they are quick to make it better! They also have high security.
- Staff The property manager, bar tenders, housekeepers, groundskeepers, every employee that I came into contact with was SO friendly. My daughter came home and still talks about how they all called her "princess" and made her feel so special the entire time!
